Festive fishing at Whitby

Well we just couldn't wait until April without a boat trip fix, so we looked at a couple of days in Whitby between Xmas and New Year. The trouble was that the cheapest B&B for 2 nights was £130. If the trip was cancelled at the last minute the B&B still has to paid for, well at least one night anyway, so not really worth the risk.

Then Lynn had a brainwave and called the YHA. A twin room for 2 nights is only £56.............between us! Better still, cancel up to the day before............no fee! Hurrah. OK the twin room has bunks, but also a shower and WC so no problem. And before you ask, yes Lynn will be on top!

A few boats surprisingly already full for Sat. Dec 29th, so booked on Shy Torque. We are the only 2 booked so far, he will sail with 6, so if anyone fancies a festive boat trip, get in touch with Rich on Shy Torrque.

Hi Chris, be great if you could come, be good to catch up again. It will be wreck/ground fishing, up to 20 mile off, weather permitting. Here is his website with all the info.

Rang both the numbers for rich off his website, no answer but left him a message and explained the dates etc so hopefully I get a call back to confirm booking and looks like I may b on board weather permitting lol fingers crossed
