does anyone know any good places north wards ,where you can camp and fish rock marks near by ? Rock marks would have to fairly easy to get too as I cant carry the rods and the girlfriend. Added bonus would be a nice pub nearby . Any suggestions welcome .She asked what i want to do for my birthday so will tell her when i know where to go

its a while since i was there but there was a site at beadnell accross the road from the shore, sure there will be a pub not far away.

agree with dabcatcher would be ideal place to stay in tent aswell as go fishing. plenty easy fishing marks to be had, even just crossing over road @ fish the local beach. myself had some nice codling,flats,aswell as the odd bass just along the road at bamburgh beach. ps, theres also couple of nice pubs just along road, in seahouses. tight lines.
