few hours chasing flatties

I managed to get a pass out for a few hours this afternoon with peter after a pub lunch with the missus and kids.

So after a quick stop off for some crabs we headed down the local beach for a few hours of the flood and an hour of the ebb. We both had a flounder each first cast then it went quiet for an hour or so. Then things picked up again with us both getting another flounder. I managed a few more flounders then on me last couple of casts I managed what I had really set out for, the plaice

I finished up with 5 flounders and 2 plaice and pete had 2 flounders ( I think lol ) all were returned safely in what was a most enjoyable afternoons fishing in the sun
