hi marra, carried on fishing the bunker till low water and nothing, then up to the round head and fished till 1. swells were getting bigger all the time and it looked 'fishy' but nothing.
saw a lamp over the north eastern beach, looked ideal with the wind direction:rolleyes:

That was me on the beach near the steels. In the 2 hours I fished I managed a rockling and a flattie about a pound. Just used leftover rag I had. Done my calf muscles the world of good just trying to stand still in that wind lol

i wasnt bothered really nice and sheltered in them winds last night only one that had fish though (might been the whiteworm tipped baits ) but the lads on the roundhead must had a very drafty night lol:)

Im having a nightmare season, fished all ower the shop up n down ladders and ropes to get to the "best marks" and ive had nowt but rockling, lost a few fish but had nowt since the 2nd week of winter season. Summick has to change!

me and 2 of my mates were at roker last night also fished the round end at first and my mate had 2 whiteys. then when the bunker was empty moved down there and had 14 whiteys between us biggest around 1.5 pound then when the swells picked up my mate caught a codling just under 6lb which had to be hand balled in as his fixed spool couldnt cope with it lol
