Filleting Knife???

Afternoon lads,

The time has come to renew my knife - what are people using and how are you keeping them sharp - I've got one of those roller sharpeners and general knife sharpeners but must admit they don't seem to work on the filleting knives I've had. They work ok on the general kitchen knives we've got but not on purpose made filleting knives.

I've looked at the Marttiini's and Rapala's which seem to be pretty popular.....thoughts?

Feedback appreciated as ever.

I have been using a Rapala "Fold n Fillet" knife and a Kitchen Devil Roll Sharpener for years and never had any issues keeping a edge on the blade.
On the plus side the knife folds away and is easily kept in your pocket.
 
Agree with Keith, the Victorinox is the biz, but keep mine st home, and use a Rapala on the
Boat, only bad thing with the Victorinox is it comes with clear plastic sheath, so best. Kept ashore. Keeps It's edge but best honed on fine diamond sharpener.
