oh dear mate you are so far off the mark it just aint true, you might want to think long and hard about that statement, make a few enquiries about whats involved(no pun intended),what support the police DONT get from magistrates DO GOOD groups etc etc getting some scumbag to court only to see him walk free to commit crime again,to know that some scumbag is beating the **** out of his kids/wife but the LAW applied by OUR elected government dosent let him do anything.must be a real nice feeling

i aint on here to be the pollis friend,i have had my run ins with them over a number of issues ,Non criminal i swiftly add:exclam:

and yes like all walks of life, many are comitted to making change/doing their best, but some will take the easy road

Cant be that hard !!! Tell you what, try dealing with a 2yr old knocked over with no head left, try dealing with a four family car fatal, try going into a house with four persons fatally shot, try looking at a person running at you with two knives, try being shot at with a crossbow, try knocking on a door and telling a mother her daughter has been killed in a crash. Just a few things in the last year or two.
I ain't after sympathy, I choose to do what I do to,the best of my ability.
What I don't want, is clueless individuals saying I have an easy job along with other officers.
Nutters building fires on a pier ain't my fault, I will go to any job I am sent to and unless the incident is reported, we can't be everywhere at one time.
I work within a department that has access to the so called " speed guns" and find it hard to believe it was being used at 9.30 at night. I have a one in my Police Vehicle and can't remember the last time I used it, I'm always too busy dealing with more important issues.
Let's leave this Forum for what we all enjoy, Sea Fishing Issues, and not slagging off anyone who happens to work in uniform, for the Goverment, hospitals, Councils etc etc etc.

all due respects rta's will happen, thats a fact. Thats part of the job mate.
I understand the cps is a waste of space, i just think the police should have real
men, like the old school lot.

the coppers do a hard job but as in all walks of life there is good and bad but they are just normal blokes/women doing a job the majority of us couldnt cope with. cannot see the harm in a fire on the pier as long as it wasnt a bench or bin Ive lost access to a brilliant flattie mark ( dunston staithes ) to youngns setting fires:mad2::mad2:

it would also keep the chavs off in the summer . I think they do it on most piers down south :) but would have to be council run and somebodys wages would have to be paid to check there passes . Just a thought

Yeah well, i still think these wa***rs should still get a hiding for bringing the
angling lads down. Im sure we all agree on that ?
