First COD of the season

Went on Roker Pier last night 19:30 - 04:00 & caught my first legal sized Cod.
Ended up a good session as I also caught 6 flatties, 2 decent whities & 1 pouting. My mate ended up with 5 flatties. All fish returned.
Next session at Horden with REAL fishermen

Off to walk dog on beach.

welldone mate canny nights fishing and ya first codling size ,is your measure cut down sometime they too long to fit into box or bag etc

Your right codseeker, I cut it down to 34cm to fit in the box & I also use it to prop open the box lid.
