First double for the Baccaruda 07.08.2010

Set out at 9.00 with the conditions perfect, straight out 8 miles. First few drops were plagued with mackerel again but still managed to get through to get a few cod and ling. Had a move to another wreck and second drop Big Tel was into a beauty while i was sorting out a ball of macky . All i could hear was puffing and panting so i got the net and when i saw it coming up i thought it was 20lb plus it turned out at 16lb 14oz. Tel just sat there for a few minutes gob smacked all he could say was " Thats the biggest fish i've ever seen mate" Ended the day with 8 cod, 4 ling and a bucket of mackerel.
I'm over the moon for him, since starting fishing 3 years ago he eats and sleeps fishing so well done mate.

Thems either Massive fish or small baskets, but anyway cracking catch, hopefully ill be back amongst it in a week or two.

Hi Sinky, Plenty more where that came from plus about 30 sets of gear, got a 3 foot length of pipe as well, put up a hell of a fight..... Falcone, have you sold your boat, could'nt see it on friday night. Yeah it will take some beating, but confidence is high now...

No its on ebay at the moment, its got 50 watchers, im keeping all the electrics and the engine, i got my paint to pick up on monday for the new boat, so once painted just a case of installing the bits and bobs then im away.
