First ever catch

Went fishing on Whitburn beach with my wife & dog (7-Oct-09). They decided to come with me because it was a lovely sunny day & the sea was flat. My wife deided she wanted to see what all the fuss is about & so I set her up with my salt bass rod & spinning reel. After a few practice casts she seemed to be doing good, so I set her up with a baited rig.
After only a few casts she brought in her first ever catch, an eel, needless to say I had to unhook it & return it to the sea.
Luckily I caught 2 rockling & saved the day, otherwise I wouldn,t have heard the last.

Even our dog enjoyed the day.
Is this the end of my peacful fishing trips?
