First fish of the season

Hi all
just got back from fishing cullercoats fished from 8 till 12 using lug,squid and mussel.
had a bite every cast and landed 5 codling's all undersize except this one it was 43cm.

All fish were returned to fight another day

Nice one Casper, not quite as big as your Carp but still nice to catch the first ones of the year mate.

no where near as big jim but my heart was pumping more when i felt that first codling pull down on my rod tip
