first mull of galloway sesh1

fished wed, thurs, cracking hot weather,flat sea, we had'nt been before so we were just walking around scratching our heads as where to fish! spoiled for choice,
i bait fished first untill nothing touched and johnny h had a coalie on the spinner, kept the bait rod out all day with bait changes, rag, makkie, crab, sandeel nothing,
as the tide came in the pollock where banging the spinners every cast, most just under size, few nice ones and johnny h lost a few big ones that we just caught a glimps of!
was a kanny trip and a truely lovely place, we are going back in a few weeks hopefully! haha ,

we got to a spot and some tramp had left a bucket of crab and makkie lying allover the rocks it stunk!

the ones about the 1lb mark were putting up some fight like! haha, i was nearly crying in the car on the way home, begging to be left behind!!

Looks a fantastic place to fish as ive never been there and the sea looked spot on for a great session too. your pics are spot on too and its a pity some people leave their rubbish behind but never mind that at least you were catching fish which keeps you eager to keep going so well done and good luck for the next time okay m8.

Cheers lads, I was a 4 hour drive but worth it like, big thanks to johnny h for driving, we just went a bit early another few weeks and it will be non stop rod tip action. There are cracking tackle/boat shop in ardnal I think it's spelt lol, got a helpfully little home made fishing mark book from there all the spots in that area all the baits to used and what to expect top wifey in there and cheap as you like

Cracking report mate that looks awesome to fish, shame about the wanton vandals and the mess they left it boils my p!$$ that does like. Many a time spinning on Shields pier last year I would be picking peoples rubbish up and putting it in the bin a yard away, a few of the lads would laugh I should get a job off the council doing it lol.

There will one day be one too many a spot that's left in a state like that, that will get us banned from fishing them. On an upward note you caught some cool fish.

aye was well worth the trip wish we could hav stayed longer coz i was determined 2 get 1 of them huge pollock from the depths maybes next time tho, hopefully get up there as much as we can over the summer
