Got a session in last night down the walkway fishing the flood 16.00-20.30, stories from people fishing there of a few fish having been caught on Saturday night, lots of dabs then codling.???? You could tell aswell as the place was packed.

I got the one undersize codling 25cm and the crabs were a torment, the hinge on my Lensor H7R popped while on my head so I gave up after an hour of it flopping down lol. Baits were rag, mussel, bluey, mackerel and squid, the fish was caught with mussel.

They look like ragworm to me.

was down from bout 9.30 till 4 on sat there were loads of peeps fishing and a load of tiny cod and lot more undersie and small dabs and with 1 or 2 decent dabs

Cheers lads, aye its a start for me in the species hunt at least I'm not on a blank like. I was a bit gutted about my headlight it was only the third time I used it so getting onto them about replacing it.

I woulda stayed Bob but my light was just hanging and I didn't have any tape for my tip light, did you get much out yourself,? after I pulled in about my seventh crab the bites went off lol.
