first of the season

fished alcan last nite from 8 till 130 about 100 meters to the right of the pipe was already 4 people fishing but they had nowt. from 8 to 11 nothing happenening. me and my pal decided to stay another hour as it turned the bites started to come had frozen crab and lug as bait .then bang nice big bites struck into it fish was on then as it came into view my first of the season cod deeped hooked couldnt get the hook out so one for the pan wieghed over a pound . so last cast bites again pulled in a little place hooked through the lip perfect so back he went to fight another day just glad to have broke the deadlock . and carnt wait to get back out .

Aye, I though Alcan and the big beach might throw up a few piggys this year.... fingers crossed!

Ive had plenty smaller codling from both beaches plus whiteys flounder and some good bass
