Going to try launching at South Shields slip on thurs. First time from there so fingers crossed!

Just a "heads up" Mick, I think you will need a permit.

take a rope with you mate that has a loop at both ends around 12ft in length attach one end to the tow bar and the other to the trailer then slowly let the rope go untill your trailer is in the water back the car up and your boat should float off the trailer without any effort and stops the salt corroding the motor
