First time at lymouth , alcan beach

Fished the above from 10 am till 3 pm myself , codfather 145 and mad rob we spent about £30 on bait £10 on fuel £2.80 on the tyne tunnel and caught 1 tiny cod for rob and a flounder for codfather and an illuminous green crab lol so descided to head back to the ratty from 4 till 7 with absolultley nothing but crabs so then headed to roker beach from 7 till 8 in between the pier and ratty with once again nothing last 2 sessions for me equals 2 blankety blanks and just small stuff for the boys always next week all nighter on roker pier

Thats the way it goes sometimes mate,hope ya get summit in the all nighter ,and ya hit the biggin,at least you were out n about ,pitty there wasnt any sea on.or you might of hit on .

unlucky lads funny old beach lynemouth it might be rubbish in one place but a few 100 yards further there might be fish coming in .steve rang iz and asked if out was doing at roker ,hadnt been out since last sunday been poorly with cod flu but not heard much coming in at all ,lets hope the sea gets away soon to give a bit more sport for the lads ..keep at it fellas it will come good one day

You would be better going to morrisons fish counter lol.
Atleast you don't have to cast far on pier because 10 yards on the beach is ok for bass but not much else.

If its any consolation lads lynemouth is very hit and miss so far this year we need the sea away to bring it on again even with the bump on before the weekend there was a couple of fish but had to be smack bang in the right place so don't get disheartened just give it another go once its stired up abit
I'm speaking from quite abit experience on there.
