sailed from hartlepool today on baccanalian,first time on this boat.12 anglers,no surprise there as only 20 quid per person.derek (skipper was always on hand with the net,and filleting knife.sadly the knife didnt get over worked,buts thats fishing.a decent boat,plenty of room even with 12 up.a friendly helpful skipper,all in all a decent enough day

derek has always been cheap as chips the boat isnt mega fast but he tries his hardest to find the fish

for the record,i put my name down for 2 places on famous,for august 4. at the time i put my name down mine was the only 2 bookings.at lunch time on august 1 the only two places taken were mine,at that point i informed the lady on the other end of the phone,01429 278553 that would "leave it" and try and get confirmed 2 places,as i was running out of time to get a booking

i am absolutely b----y fuming about post saying i didnt inform famous skipper,of cancelling.i have spoken to the skipper,and been informed by him that despite doing everything correctly,ie timely communication,i am in the black book,and that takes some getting out of.(i do want to fish on the vessel at some point,but thats out the chuffin window well not happy is an understatement
