Fished the Pier last Night, Friday, from 8pm till 3am. Probs never have Weather like that again, not a bit of wind, cudnt ask for any better.
When I began to walk along, there were approx 12,647,843 People doin whatever kind of Fishing.
Got a nice space for the 3 of us, on Mark 44, Fishing into the Seaside. From the 1st Cast was getting loadsa interest in Bait, then the Fish began to bite. Ended up with 4 Coalies, 2 of which were keepers and 3 Smallish Codling, and a Canny Dab and a Squid thing which a got me pal to throw back in...My Pal Dunny had 4 Coalies and a Dab, and Tony Managed to Find to Fine Rockling!!! All were returned safely...The Pier began to clear about 930, but even when the Darkness fell, the Wind didnt come, was such a still Night...Best Session ive had in My short Fishing Career...
Might not sound great, but with all the Blanking ive been doing, was nice to get a bit Sport...
New Penn Mag 2 Reel was working a Treat, over the Moon with it...
Highlight of the Night, was a Funny Kid walking off the Pier about 8:30, asking every Angler if they wanna Buy His last DayLight Trace, so that He can Buy some DOUGHNUTS in the Amusments!!! (HE WAS ABOUT 25)
(its been that long since I caught a Fish that Ive forgot how to put pics on, but ill figure it out) lol...
