Loads of species of fish in the world but before i die i wish to catch the following below....

Red fish over 5lb (caught 2 tiddler ones in Norway)

Tuna of any species as long as over 10lb

Blue shark

Travali

Marlin

Sailfish

Darado

Turbot

Hake

Some can be caught in our waters Shetlands area but most will require a lot of saving and maybe just a dream due to cost and location.

Anyone else have anything they eager to catch?

Anything will do at the moment ,ive got a few ticks under me belt would be interesting to tally them up one rainy day
Wouldnt mind a tuna of any size tho as long as its a couple of (hundred)pound :D

Still catching tuna down south Dave but not many, odd one or two a month from south Wales n that. A shark boat had one over 500lb take a float fished full mackerel bait 3 weeks ago from Swansea.

You had cod all season Norman, not fancy soemthing different :) been one of the best cod seasons i have recorded this one for numbers.

Some species will be pipe dreams but you have to dream :)

Mine are as follows Richy:

A Bonefish on the fly,(Florida quays?)
Turbot over 10lb from the boat,(Shetlands or down south)
A Halibut,(Norway)
A 10lb coalie,(Norway)
A big bronze whaler from the shore,(Namibia)
A Shark of any species from the North East coast,(not dogfish mind or Huss etc!)
A Nile Perch, (Lake Victoria, an old John Wilson Vhs was the source of this one!)
And I have saved the biggest wish for the list for last, a double figure cod from the shore locally! I have been trying since I was 7 and am sick of 7,8 and 9lb almost there cod?

Cheers,

Graham.
