Got one of the earlier models for course fishing. Originally badged hummingbird.

Personally would leave it on the shelf.

Works ok up to about 20 metres but after that a very hit and miss signal.

even if it does work-which i doubt, it would be in sal****er look at the fishing range-around 100 feet, not exactly cod distances

id say give it a whirl if cheep enough to bin if no good lol
