will the fishing be better this week after last week was so poor some big tides coming later on in the day return of the good whiting maybe?? im no good at lookin at the weather and having an idea if fish will be in so thought id ask here :)

It depends what you are after mate. I have been targeting small stuff and species hunting and the fishing for these has been great, not poor at all. If you are after something big enough to take home though the whiting and cod have pretty much gone now so there will not be much for you for the next couple of months until the summer species start turning up. Plenty of sport about with the flatties etc But you never know theres always the chance of a surprise good fish and the north easterlies due this week could certainly help bring one in.

very good answer there mate thanks and ill lower my hook sizes then for smaller fishys

I've had a week or so away from the sea due to the **** tides. I'm gonna drag mesel out Tue-wed night, no flatty bashing yet tho, big bluey or squid baits.
Ryhope, seaham, newbiggin or lynmouth depending on conditions. :)

its been so poor lately on my excursions ive got no faith in good cod showing:(i think the horse has left the stable now;)
