im having a all nighter on the 20th and i was thinking of giving lynemouth a shot, whats the best mark and whats the best tides, baits, casting distance etc etc. thanks in advance for any help, cheers

i been to lynemouth more times this year than anywere else try the rocks or carrs at the top of the beach getting there is easy drive past the plant north all the way to the top of the road till u come to a small house and massive car park and walk down the wooden steps u can fish off the top of the bank at high then fish it all the way out always cast way right of the stairs that were the cod and conger are. another mark on that beach is that road that u were driving up stop half way up and walk down the mucky road straight down this mark is only avilable at low tide there are massive kelp beds that go out about 400 yards dont fish straite off the end were u would normally think every cast u will lose gear go on the left side of the rocks they are all kelp beds and brilliant cod grounds u dont have to cast out miles to be in contact wif fish blueys really do kill here and pile on the lugworm at least 7 on each hook another thing when your there ull notice a causway that is sandy bottomat low water when that fills wif water GET OFF THE ROCKS STRAIGHT AWY MIND OR YOULL BE CUT OFF made that mistake 1nce and had to swim back hope this helps might see u there tight lines

north east m8 all the way up this stretch of coast to st abbs fishes well on a north easterly

think they are refering to the cresswell cars,a very good shot but get familiar with them before you fish night tides,there are loads of rock arks up from lynemouth to cresswell that fish on either state of tide with varied conditions,
as for lyneburn most consider this the beach/peble stretch behind the alcan power station,a good mark fished at any state of the tide but if a sea running and it doesnt need to be much it can sometimes be unfishable.fish 100yrds north of the pipe up over for mixed bags,the south to the beacons does produce but the northend seams to be prefered.further up north just past the traverlers camp in known as the bog hall rocks a low water shot which is very productive over the winter time,southerly seas are much better for most marks up there at the moment,the northerlies that have been on over the past few months havent really produced the bags expected for this area.
