spilers is ok not many snags but pottery bank you can lose tackle every cast, bloke fishing did say therd been some 5lb plus cod up there

mill dam is ok for parking but reccomend no wind,it was blowing a gale there yesterday

We have 2 very large dogs that love going for rides in cars but won\'t let anyone get within 20ft of the car before they\'re trying to get out and rip them to shreds ;)

Anyone want to borrow them for fishing at Hendon are quite welcome might take us a while to get them down to you though :D

Stuart

I was talking to a guy on Roker pier today. He said he was down at Hendon prom the other night and said there was a gang of about 15 terrorising everyone he says he will never go back on a night.

Jim.

how do you spot a fisherman at hendon ?

hes the guy with his mates using your rod your reel wearing your clothes and driving your car home :P

Aye Tich I\'ve parked there as well ,a lot of unusual pairs of men walking around there as well i noticed...SCAREY
Just tighten your floatation suit up and hope for the best,don\'t smile or wink and don\'t bend over.try not to have your rod in your hand either................ ;)

haha thats a good one but everyone knows us blokes have a homing beacon ,dont matter how sozzled you are you always get home via the chippy for a kebab

found a nice little spot on the south side of the tyne today, south shore rd behind the restaraunt easy parking ,and you can keep an eye on the car ,very few snags ,nice grassy bank to sit on ,be a good spot on high tide

Did a bit of security work at Hendon a few years back. Warned a few of the local yobs about throwing bricks at the building I was watching and when I went to my car after finishing my shift it was minus both number plates, both door mirrors, all wheeltrims and my ariel. The place makes Baghdad look like Darras Hall !. Take my advice and keep well away from it.

gag1 :o

sandsend car park whitby great mark and a fantastic place for parking tickets the warden is like a ninja and sneaks up and puts the tickets on, sees you fishing and does not even warn you to buy a ticket or move your car.SO BEWARE OF NINJAS

Only problem with Sandsend car park at this time of year is the amount of cars in their. It can be impossible to get a spot against the wall......inconsiderate swines! :D

on about pairs of funny men ,dont go to ryhope dene in the evening, SHIT SHUFFLE ALLY some people call it your cars allright just watch your ass.
