hi all, well ah got out eventually and after all the talk on king eddies ah didn't go there !!! me mate wanted to go to whitley prom coz he had a few fish from there a few days ago. we gave it a few hours then the snow started and it felt like gettin sand blasted in the face lol.
to cut a long story short there was about 9 rods out and we seen 1 fish, a flatty would u believe which me mate caught.
baits used were yellow tails, runny down, rag and squid.

cheers

nick :D

still had a good laugh though, think we're off to craster on thurs which is another day and you never no lol :)

you didn't miss much mate - sea was big and getting bigger in there...I sacked it off after 2 hours and hit the river for a few chucks to try and salvage some pride but that didn't happen either

shame as I had some really good worms from Lewis Tackle :(

met coleg tho' and had a bit of banter - nice to meet you again mate ;)

ah think it'll be better after a few days and starts to die down a bit coz it was startin to get really big. craster might be worth a shot if u fish the back of the island on ur left coz that will take a lot of sting out of it lol :)

You should've went to Tynemouth matey. It should've fished last night.

Where were you fishing Wallsendo mate???? It would've been ideal there last night.

Cheers

King Eddies - Oxfauld then closer to the beach...humungous weed and baits untouched...prob is I was fishing at a time that was convenient to me but not the best for the tides/fishing...

That spot i said should've fished last night mate and you had the perfect bait!!!!

Next time tell your coppertopped mate where your fishing and dont let him interfere!!,,,,Lol

Would've just stayed closer to the beach mate. Oxfauld is a good shot but the way the sea was running then the beach would've been a better shot. Just my opinion tho and I'm sure there'll be plenty that disagree.
What time were you fishing and part of the tide was it??
