Some canny piccs there but lots of them seem to be wrongly labeled. One of the Horden piccs is actually the Boating Bay north of Easington, the one called Horden Long looks suspiciously like the Blast to me and one of the Blackhall piccs looks like Dene Holm Horden.

hi mate its sliver surfer what do catch at boating bay been wanting to try there for ages ,any chance of some imfor on that venue ie the tides ,baits etc

Sorry mate can't help you there, only ever fished there once years ago with John Lovett in the Seaham open. Plenty of decent size Whiting caught that day, don't remember any codling but do remember it was a canny trek back up the cliff to the car. It is an isolated mark and not somewhere to fish alone.

that horden mark is it where you go past that recycle place then under a viaduct used by the trains,if iam right you turn left before u get into horden its self

No mate you are thinking of Mucky Bay. The Boating Bay is just north of Easington. There is a right turn (heading north) just before the old dog track IIRC, you follow that for a mile or so until it comes to an end, then there is a footpath that crosses the train tracks and leads down to the beach. It is a smallish bay with rocky skeers to the north and south, fairly deep water I think but as I say only fished it the once years ago.

Mucky Bay is an excellent mark, or at least it used to be back in the day.

boating bay is also a cracking mark just a bit of a climb down but i have had lots of cod from it

there is quite a few pics with the wrong names, just to confuse you or the person you say to , i fished at x and caught loads of fish .then they go and catch nothing they fished x you fished y
