Arrived at 8-30am to fish the middens rocks into the Tyne, but decided on the short beach as the tide wasn't down far enough. First cast produced an undersize codling, second, 3rd &4th, each an undersize coalie. Went quiet at bottom water, then a 37cm codling, then quiet again. Then last cast a coalie about 1./1/2lb.:):) Ithink there would have been more fish as the flood started, but I was clamin for me dinna. Wish they would hurry up and finish work at the fish quay, as there are few places to fish on the north side of river.:( couple of pics.

Hi lads, thanks for your comments, just got back from a weekend away in the caravan. Your right Alan, i need to get in the pose quicker before the timer snaps the pic.:D:D There's not much room to fish there as there are mooring Dans 40 ft out just waiting to grab your tackle on the retrieve. Steak&kidney pie, the grounds not to bad further out, its on the retrieve when you have a bit aggro.
