and as for catches nwt much odd sized codling small dabs and flounder whiting
and best fishing spots problery south shields pier if on south and the fish quey for the north

as curtis said some decent fish have been caught of shields pier this last couple of weeks, I fished there tuesday from 2pm until 7pm and blanked. personaly prefer rock marks but very little from there too. pier still probably your best bet.
