Fishing the cliffs

Just a reminder to those that fish the cliffs, and the beaches i suppose. It was reported in the Shields Gazette yesterday that there had been recent cliff erosion around the Marsden area. One guy walking the beach captured one on camera and warned a dog walker just seconds before it came down. According to the Trust warden there had been a few recent falls in the past week. Stay safe especially with the current weather conditions.

yes mate its happening in ryhope next to hill 60 mate cliffs are falling everywhere

The last time i fished Hill60 the cliffs to the north side of it looked like they had fell recently, made of the same stuff as the cliffs at Marsden.

I wouldnt be suprised to see the southern Target rock come down in the next few days, it looked very top heavy when i was there on saturday and looked as though some had came down recently.
