Fishing the Wear

Does anyone know where to park if you want to fish the area's under Sunderland Bridge ? Cheers.

Fishing the south side you can park almost under the bridge, just take a left (coming from shields) after crossing the bridge and head for the river. North side, most of the car parking is the university's and quite expensive. I normally park up before I get to the glass centre and walk the rest of the way but to be honest I find the fishing better next to the glass centre.

South side of the river. There is a road that runs immediately adjacent to the river called low street. It runs from the wear mouth bridge to the dock. You can park anywhere on it except for a section in the centre where there are university buildings. You can fish right next to your car along most of it.
