fishing this friday but where?

got meself an all day pass to leave the missus and bairn and go fishing!! wooohoo


thing is i dont know where to go - i fancy somewhere different further up the coast any suggestions going off tides and weather and that- somewhere like craster is where i fancy but know nowt about it

all suggetsions gladly accepted

why not try private beach area cresswell ive picked away steady there this year and i find its a better daytime venue than most
as for further up the coast it seems quiet up at craster of late and can be very hit and miss its a canny hike for a blank,if you do go to craster tyr behind the castle (dunstanburgh) fish the deeper gullys there sorry i cant help more mate but its so patchy at the moment its hard to reccomend anywhere with any confidence. the good thing about the castle mark is its very peacefull so if you dont catch its still a nice day out but its a good walk from the car park mind so travel light mate good luck.

where exactly at cresswell do you go ? ive heard about an icecream shop or cafe but havent gota aclue other than that ;D
