well as some of you know the young un wants me to take him out before I go back to work and today being about the last chance I have iv spoke to a couple people and some have said take him to the spiles seaham cany anyone shine any light on this mark ive been told you can drive right upto it also been told it has a bit of shelter too......is this info I have been given correct and secondly what kind of ground is it and will it be worth a shot for thisafternoons tide any info would be greatfull

Yeah mate you can take your car right down and there is plenty of parking. I fished there last week and had a few whities.

I fished with 2 rods for a few hours and lost 3 or 4 rigs.

I was talking to a regular when I was there and he said that if you cast short (40-50 yards) or about 100 yards then you tend to miss the snags. Don't know if there is any truth in it but he seemed to know the mark.

And yeah it is quite sheltered, but I guess it depends which direct it is blowing from. There is a small wall too, so is quite safe for the young lad.

didn't get out mate turned my shed upside down but my bag has magically disappeared with both my reels and all the rest of my gear absolutely gutted so was the boy looks like my season has come to an abrupt end rotton *******s

propper scum mate what made it worse was the fact I promised to take the step son out today too and if its one thing I never do is break a promise to the kids wich hurt me just as much I was very very tempted to sell my rods, pod and suit but my dad managed to talk me out of it at the end of the day iv still got them at least il just have to wait til the end of January to replace it all not that I should have to if I ever find out who it was I will be paying a very friendly visit but the chances are very slim
