Theres loads of good Flounders marks on the Wear mate,from the A19 bridge down to the piers.
Most of the Flounders have gone to sea to spawn now,but theres still a few in the mouth of the river.As said above,the Glass center is worth a go.
Best bait for them at the moment is runnidown tipped with macky.
