me and my mate went out today with the flamer we left at 7:30 and headed down to skiningrove first drop i got a 5 and a half pound cod and some of the other lads were pulling up 2 to 3lbers the water and weather was ideal we tried close in and picked a couple of small cod up loads of makerell and whiteys then my mate pulled up 6 and a half pound monkfish only the second the skipper had seen on the way back in we tried some rough ground and a lad pulled up a 6lb cod not a great lot of fish but a great day out the skipper was very helpfull making coffees and gettin tangles out im looking foreward 2 next time thanx a lot john for a good day out

Spot on mate thats what its all about.
I,m off out on Maggie May next Friday and i want to get a PB.
The best fish i ever caught was a 7lb cod off the heugh when i was a lad. I would love to better this.

PS tried all last winter off the piers but to no avail-i will keep trying though.
