Hello lads,

New to this site, and its a belter!

I'm after a bit of advice.

I have my eye on one of those Shakespeare Tidewater flotation suits as an xmas pressie (I've been a good lad). Has anyone got one, and if so, how do you rate it?

Cheers

Al

i have just tried on one of the new sundridge suits. Really excellent bit of kit, light, boyant and breathable. Under £100 well worth the money.
Regards Jason

+Welcome big al, dont know much about the tidewater, but i swear by the sundridge two piece gear, and the new lightweight one is not too expensivie

Big Al, both the tidewater and the sundridge suits that have been mentioned are good.
PM me with price you have been quoted.

Hi Big Al and welcome to NESA. Thank's for the compliment it is much apreciated and tonight it does seem like a belter as the girls have put the handbags away. :D Hope it stays that way.

I havn't had anything to do with the Shakespeare suit but do have quite a bit of their kit which I must say I have found excellent over the years that I have been fishing.

I own three flotation suits and my favourite is the Sundridge two piece. I have had it for at least ten years and it still keeps me as warm as it did the first time I put it on even if it is a little ripe at times lol.

Take up Terry's offer but try them both on before you buy as comfort is everything.

Jim.

welcome to nesa big al,,,im getting a new sundridge floatation for xmas, ive been a good lad aswell, lol where do you fish mate,,,

I'm after a floatation suit too, ad also like the look of the Shakespeare offering.

Fancing doing a NESA special offer YoursTruely.

Joking aside, one of the car forums I am a member of has a group buy section where suppliers offer products at group buy prices i.e. they offer a really good discount provided a certain number of members take up the offer - normally 5 to 10.

Maybe NESA could offer something similar? If not, where is you shop based YT?

Stu

Hi Al, I have a Sundridge 2 piece, great kit. But If youre looking for serious advice, get a lifejacket.
A Flotation suit will keep you warm if you fall in, and pretty bouyant, but for around £40, a lifejacket is the biz, dont make the mistake of thinking it cant happen tou you, It can mate.

Think about it, then do it. You can wear it over your FS. and it wont hamper your casting.

Well, just picked up a Shakespeare Tidewater suit and a box/breakaway coversion for a great price from Terry @ Reelsport -cheers mate. Now just need to head out fishing ad test it out!

regards

Stu
