Caught a variety of flatties along Druridge and Warkwarth these past couple of weeks (whilst hunting for the elusive Bass) and it's been great to see Turbot in such numbers! Hopefully its a long term thing because they do taste good!
Fished the the summer solstace with Dave Craig and we were reeling Turbot in every other cast. 17 flatties in total, 10 of which Turbot, most the size of a small tea saucer, but the occasional keeper too!
