hi lads just wondered if anyone has fished aldin grange if so whats it like am thinking of giving it a go.

Alrite mate a fish aldin grange quite regular and its spot on, a have always caught when av been there, theres plenty fish in, two fly fishing waters:)

and it never seems to get too busy;)

totally agree with the last post, its a cracking place, very friendly and its pretty sheltered so you can always find somewhere out of the wind if it gets a bit breezy, may pop over myself Sunday afternoon.

i am looking to find somewhere that lets you fly fish for carp if anyone knows any venues

South causey has a couple of carp in it and some tench or go to Langley Dam and fish by the weeds next to the boats,,,,,,,,yellow blob is meant to be good for them. Replicates sweetcorn ;-)

Cheers

Tony

Jimmy, I use to flyfish for carp at the Angel of the North lakes when I lived in the UK. Ann the owner use to allow this after 4pm on the carp lake, Im not sure if she still allows it now, maybe drop her a line?

Good luck
