hi all as the title suggests im not a happy chappy
just had a drive down to pottery bank to see if anyone was out
and there were a few about!
what i normally do is drive straight along the walkway and turn round and back
along!
what i found there was a pretty large group of anglers which aint uncommon down there
but they werent very freindly to car drivers
one small bloke basically stood in the middle of the walkway
as though he was going to start a fight! the words you will not pass
spring to mind!!
look i know its not nice when your fishing down there and cars come along but theres enough room
for anglers and cars not just for an idiot that basically wants to be the big man!!
the rest who looked pretty seasoned just laughed: as i had to reverse back upmad:
if this carrires on they wont allow cars down there anymore and that
will spoil it for the rest of us!!!
no wonder we are getting blamed for the antisocial behavior down there which
iknow aint us but this doesnt help and from old anglers aswell
talk about imtimadating!!!!! IDIOTS!!!

i agree mate!! i always move for cars even if i get fed up at times but

it was at the stretch of walker riverside thats opposite
international paints!!
the reason i didnt get out is if i did he would of had a reason
then!! cant be ars#d with dumdums like that and his idiot mates!
hope there reading this now really i am!
at the end of the day anglers share the riverside with the
public and yes its irataiting when you have to move your rods for a car but thats manners!!!
but bassically intimadating people because you think your it isnt the way at all
he looked the oldest guy there so mate if your reading this thanks for setting a great
example to the younger guys that were there! because if there
like you they wont have anywhere to fish in years to come thanks to you!!

I had a similar experience a while back when some twit wouldnt move to let me leave after HE had blocked me in. My mate hit the roof and almost battered the bloke.... luckily my mate is as large lump of a rugby player so the fella shifted fairly quick after that. A few names called in his direction and off we went

didnt want a slanging match mate as i could see in my minds eye he would be spouting "IVE FISHED HERE FOR 40YRS THIS IS MY PATCH" you know knob talk!! at the end of the day i dont do confrontations unless absolutly crucial!
especialy for jumped up sad old men that dont have anything left in there life but try and be 16 again to there mates!
its sad really!
