Fontburn!

Just a little reminder, Fontburn are not doing day licenses anymore due to complaints about the queues at the cabin. I've been fishing up at Higham and got chatting to a environment agency officer checking my license. He reckons they are gonna hammer Fontburn for the first week or so because they know lots of people will be caught out. I've personally got the post office number in my phone, you can buy them from 7.30 in the morning if you get caught without. Years ago I was caught without a license and done nearly £200 at Alnwick magistrates.

Oh and by the way been fishing Higham when its been half frozen and still catchin 2/3 fish a visit! Tight lines!

Good Advice

A bit of good advice there Bonny Lad.

Wasn't aware that Fontburn sold 'day-licenses', I guess, therefore, that Derwent did as well.

Always get a yearly from the P.O. or online.

Prices this year are £27 a year and £3.75 for a day ( trout and coarse fish)
