The more I look at them the more I want them - am going to be giving the cockerneys a call in the New Year :D

Also put the new braid on my reel - woohoo can't wait!! :D

Yes they are divers boots, waterproof, non slip, warm, comfortable, non marking soles, and add flotation.
I've had mine a year now, they're perfect for the boat.

ahhh right, just I have similar boots for kayaking, which allow water in which then warms up with body heat "wetsuit boots":D

looking at the spec' they appear to be a kind of hybrid IE they can be used in the same sense as neoprene wet boots like kayakers/surfers etc wear but they can also be used like deck boots - more I look at them the more I want :D

We had a slow start, confined to the marina in April then an unexpectedly early finish with the change in weather in October. but in between :):):)

Not long now and it will all start again. Until then there’s still loads of jobs to do on the boat.

Back to the original topic. I have a pair of wetsuit boots for canoeing. They’re warm enough and so air-tight they’d be stinking by the end a fishing trip, and the soles are so soft they only give minimal protection and cushioning. I’d check the pair mentioned are a loose fit and a proper sole. What’s wrong with a scruffy old pair of jeans and trainers? - No need to answer that, my wife tells what's wrong with them every time we go out :)

Aye Kev after the fish clean and the boat clean a normal pair of jeans and trainers are lifting to high heaven and even after numerous washes start to retain that special boaty odour...at least with a pair of salopettes and (hopefully) these boots I can keep the contamination to a minimum :D
