For Bri Bones

Is this a private club or can anyone join? (LOL) I tend to fish by myself in the winter as it\'s too cold for the wife and kids and I\'d love a bit crack on and company. Like Jim I\'ve also got a big car and fancy trying out a few marks north of the tyne if anyone\'s interested. I\'m based in S Shields and my only experience of fishing Northumberland was Blyth beach (next to the bandstand thingy) catching nowt and then moving down to the car park near the Astley Arms where I was chattted up by a couple of friendly men with no rods at 1:30am???

thats worrying m8,i always keep my knife in my pocket if i\'am on my own,i\'d rather stab then be stabbed :D
the beach/toilets was and maybe still is an old stamping ground for eh homo\'s,never had that experience though m8,think the local plod watch for them now and there used to be notices up about unsavioury
acts taking place and that they were being watched.Think they had problems in Tynemouth some time back,i remember a old thread about something simular think it was tich or pat-pending fishing at whitley Bay not sure now,
At 01.30 my star fish would be nipped up tight !

i only took up fishing again about 4 months ago chances are we might have crossed paths at tynemouth with some of you ,rob you should try the north side of blyth we go up there most weekends cambois rocks or the beach or if the tides crap on the river about half a mile up from the pier
not sure where the bandstand thingy is ,we are gonna try the beach next to the port entrence carpark as soon as we sort rests out, next to the big hole in the wall as i call it

Doesn\'t matter what the weather they\'re still down there. Have seen a bloke going there who I know is married with a grown up son. Soon as they see the fishing gear they usually turn round and head off.

Have just got in from Marsdon fished with me mates Dave, T C and Ian. Me mate Dave got the only two fish (two small Whiting) had some good craic though as usual.
I wouldn\"t be surprised if we have met Alan cos I fish there a lot mate. Have been trying a few places south of the Tyne till Tony gets his tagging device removed and gets back onto the Home office about his passport lol. We will definately meet up this winter mate and hopefully catch some good fish.
Rob just keep your eye on here because we quite often post about where we are going and when, you are more than welcome to join us mate.

Jim.

Aye Marsden was disapointing tonight, Jim...... still, as always......lack of fish was made up for by some canny crack.......catching fish is always secondary (for me), I just enjoy being out TRYING to catch \'em......lol

Had the last 2 hours down at the Brigade Hut on SOUTH Shields pier.......ABSOLUTELY BOG ALL..... :(

Got in at 6:00am......busy enjoying ham & cheese sarnies and a pint of John Smiths........just the usual Saturday breakfast.....lol.

Rob, I may well be out next Friday night / Sat morning if you fancy playing out......I\'ll keep ya posted........I don\'t live that far away from you.......right opposite Chuter Ede.

Me thinks they were ready with there rods Rob,ouch !

Cheers for all the offers lads. Like you say, if the cracks good you don\'t mind not catching (as much!) and I\'m always willing to give anyone a lift if they fancy a trip out.

Tony, I live next to the Red Duster, so I\'m literally just around the corner from you (you might have seen me casting on the football pitches?) I\'m 3-11 next Friday, but if it\'s an all nighter I would be able to get out from about midnight.

Alan, I think they had telescopic rods in their pockets, with little baitcaster reels attached (LOL) Sad thing is, it was freezing cold and thick of ice in the car park and there I am, a big baldy bloke in chesties and a balaclava, they must have been desperate!!

Hey Rob I am up in Scotland next weekend but after that if you fancy we can get together (just for fishing lol). Where abouts do you usually fish mate.

Jim.

Jim,
I\'ve stuck the photos of the demolition of the stack at Marden Rock in the CHAT forum.

alan i wouldnt keep a knife in your pocket

you never heard the saying \"is that a knife in your pocket or are you just happy to see me \"
you might be asking for trouble lol :P

Cheers Jim. I normally fish the same marks as Tony, so we\'ve probably crossed paths at one time or another. Shields Pier, Groyne, Little Beach, Walkway, Market Dock, various rock marks at Marsden, Rat House, Glass Centre and used to fish Hendon Promenade unil the thugs started getting down there, but I\'m open to suggestions (no, not that kind!)
