Been thinking about this for a while now and decided to give it a go. How it works out is all up to you lot lol.

Every year we have loads of we are better than you threads, closely followed by no we are better than you posts.

Lets see who does know what is going on in the football world.

I would like to see who has the bottle to post where they think their team will end up this season. For those of us that live in the N.E. lets see where you think the top three N.E. premiership teams will finish.

For those that support a different team, don't be shy let us hear what you think too.

Before you all start posting, the first and only rule on this thread is to say where you think teams will finish in the league and not how crap you think another team is (Those posts will be deleted). That means NO DEROGATORY COMMENTS ABOUT ANY TEAM.

At the end of the season it will be brought back to the top and we will see who knows what they are talking about. Just a bit of fun so lets keep it that way.

Newcastle .... just above mid table
Middlesborough .... about the same
Sunderland .... just above relegation
All realistic I think , chosen with my head and not my heart ,my heart says something different but I do think that with the changes at the toon and Sunderland it may take a while to get things on the right track.

Not an easy thing for me this.

I have never liked Roy Keane but have a grudging respect for him after the way he has conducted himself since he became Sunderland manager.

Sam Allardice is a cracking manager that has done a great job at Bolton on a small budget and I reckon he will do a good job at Newcastle.

Gareth Southgate still has to prove himself in my mind but I think he is as keen as mustard.

funny though most of the season ticket holders are less optimistic than me,credit where its due most Toon fans seem to think Sunderland will hang in at the end,think it will be tough for the teams trying to "play to win" rather than trying to "buy to win" a trophy
