does anybody know where i can get a ford cargo gasket set for my boat or number for dalton power i used to go to a place in washington but think its moved any help would be grateful

I'd try avoid lancing if its at all possible - they ain't what you could call cheap!

most of the ford derived 4d and 6d engines are are the same block, marinised by different folks - mermaid, dorset, lehman, sabre etc

I just stuck service manuals and full parts lists on the blog for the ford's. You might be able to cross reference the head gasket part number

Would recommend highly AutoDiesels on St Lawrence road in Byker. Very incredibly helpful and cheap! Lancing wanted £500 for a starter - they sourced it for a little over £100

there's also a big agricultural tractor type place on the A69 at the throckley roundabout. They should be able to match the part number as well. Be heaps cheaper than anywhere with the word 'marine' in the title!

Hi,
Used to get a my ford parts from Fleet Factors in Sunderland but I think
they shifted to Durham. I they didnt have it on the shelf it was there the next morning.
