Found One, 5 lb 1oz

Evening all!! Well I eventually managed to break the festive duck and found one at Snab Point!

Was my eighth trip out since the 23rd December and having only managed a few small ones in that time I was beginning to lose hope!!!

This one took a lug/squid cocktail and I had to wrestle it out of the kelp, but it just pushed over the 5 mark when I weighed it!!

This was probably my last shore trip of the holidays as its back to work on sunday. Boat out from Whitby tomorrow though, so I'm hoping ill have a few more decent fish!!!
