Took my 4 year old daughter on saturday for a couple of hours, She held the rod and I helped her with a short 10ft lob and 10 mins later bang a nice trout abt the 2lb mark which she reeled in then netted while i held the rod for her, Then the same again half an hour later, Overall i had 1 and she had 2, First time fishing for her and she loved it and to top it off she beat daddy roll on the next weekend

Yes LingKing That was her and thanks for the kind comments about her it is much appreciated, That's what i'm hoping for Jimmy, She loves mackrell for some reason and every time we go to asda or morrisons she wants to see them and now is asking to catch some

Yeah Jim its a great little place,There was another little lad there who looked about 4 also and his face was a picture when he caught one

welldone to your daughter m8 i know how you feel getting beat off the littluns m8 but its a great feeling watching them reel there 1st fish in makes you very proud congrats thats another one hooked for life

Thanks lads, She enjoyed eating the sweetcorn more than the packet of crisps she bought haha
Eddie its just over the roundabout past the millhouse pub in washington, As if your driving to birtley and joining the A1 motorway north bound its the turn on the left, I will be there with her this weekend coming to get my revenge

I took my boy to Scotland in the kids holidays, I took him piking to a runs water. We caught 3 x 6lb hard fighting jack pike and he loved it.
I let him bring them in.
