Sadly, yes the two boat comps. have been cancelled. I spoke to Brian (Frasers) and to Ian (Ian woods Game Supplies) and they both said the same , that trying to get prizes from companies last year was very difficult and this year they both felt it would be harder still. I am going to suggest at the next committee meeting of the North East division of the Angling Trust that we run a boat comp. using entry monies as the prizes.
It would be run on the same lines as the other two would have been. I will let you know what the result is.
Although, bugger it, I'll run it myself if the lads feel that there would be the support for it.

Nar no nightshift starts for me 6.30am and thats at a push
I was not going to mention the bouncer word once this year

06:30 hrs will that be early enough to beat the crowds? You know what its like out there they spot a white boat and they make a bee line straight for you.

I we had a a few tag alongs, remember that boat from Sunderland...followed from wreck to wreck and you could reach out and touch him as he started his drift 3 ft off s everytime..tit.
6.30am have to do, any sooner and its no fun for me as you just feel shattered the rest of the day

we get few/none around amble.however a skipper mate of mine from a port down the country a few miles had to travel 28 miles to get rid of one a couple of years ago
