as a traditional vessel, any sticking must be done with the finest residue of boiled dead horses, not some modern pratt stick malarkey

if its cut out letters then they must be hand carved from either tiger or ocelot skin and tanned for the requisite length of time in a vat of the finest badger urine with a dash of arsenic for good measure

Also its totally the wrong typeface, slab serif fonts are a relatively modern invention, introduced as a cheap way for foundries to cut en-mass. There's no class to the serif terminals, the ascenders and descenders are pants and the kerning tables are all wrong

People just churn stuff out willy nilly in whatever font they come across without a thought - another nail in the coffin of typography

go and google eric gill, claude garamond, and adrian frutiger


slab serif indeed - rockwell or geometric slab at a guess

the correct font should be either antiqua (linotype not URW) or the original century schoolbook - not the nasty modern pc version
