My first vote was for Labour...and was so for the next two occasions...but then they fooked it all up good and proper round about the time of the second invasion of Iraq.

There is no longer such a thing as a party for the working man so we have to make do with what we have got. I firmly believe that to vote is to affect change whether big or small

I believe in the cuts to some extent - I don't agree with hospitals or care units being cut however (going back to Scottys thread ;))

Like in any company when they make cuts they always get the balance wrong in my opinion. The workers have to share a paperclip and one pen while the management reward their efforts with a new company car.

Instead of trimming the top heavy management they instead cut from the bottom...which is false economy in anyones eyes

Nothing wrong with your original post scotty all the people I've come into contact with in the nhs do a great job and they deserve our support but some people on hear just like to beat their own political drum when ever they can I hope the recent review of the freeman baby heart unit is not overturned its a shame Leeds can't keep there's as well

trouble maker

trouble maker

i am entitled to my opinion , i support the nhs 100 percent do you

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but not the way you put it.Bye the way which party do you think would sort the situation.please post your reply on here and not via pm,that will allow everyone to see.I unfortunately see more of the nhs than most but to refer to people as "SCUM"you go too far in my opinion.

The worst of it is there is very little difference between the left and right, red and blue any more. The last election was won and lost on personalities, Brown not having one and Cameron barely registering.
They're all pigs in a trough for me, they set out in a career in politics with no real life experience, not like the older politicians who were respected in their communities. Now your MP is an Oxbridge graduate with no knowledge of the area he/she is representing most of the time.
The Tory scum are no worse than the other leeching scum in the other parties as far as I'm concerned, out for anything they can grab without being collared.
Who can you vote for to represent the working class man? Bit of a dilemma. That's probably why we've ended up with this mess of a coalition.

Well said!

its the torrie government i refer to as scum , but in all reality they are worse than scum , they have hit the nhs the police , civil service etc my ,wife works with the mentally ill they will be privatising all of these types of homes and the workers will be getting a substantial loss in hourly rate , they have picked on the poorest and the disabled in society , not once have the wealthiest in society have had to pull out a bit more and they are the ones who could afford it, so in my book and my opinion they are worse than SCUM rob the poor to pay for the wealthy it STINKS
