Took the afternoon off from work to try an, all to rare, DAYTIME fishing session.
Started off at The Wherry at 12:30; stayed there til about 3:15.
Fished mark 12 on the pier (into the harbour) from about 3:45 til 5:30
Fished the 45 til 10:30.

What was the days, total catch?.......1 small Rockling (and Ian caught that !!) from The Wherry.

However, still had a brilliant day :D Just glad to be out fishing, really.

Weatherwise AND sea wise it was spot on - pity nobody told the fish...lol

Noticed a few Sea Trout jumping in the harbour just as the sun was starting to set - what with the brilliant weather today aswell, it seemed strange that it\'s actually NOVEMBER !!

The sea looked perfect late afternoon - good lump on and plenty colour in it. However despite taking and using a whole host of various baits, the fish just didn\'t wanna play.

Don\'t care though - we enjoyed the fishing, if not the catching :)

I have to admit here Tc that the xpected mountanous sou easterly hasnt got up too much so I went up to the nightclub in stockton!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!

Anyway I\"ve got a lift up to St mary\"s on sunday and if thats too rough you\"ll find me on Hendon Cliffs fishing out my mates car so I decided to save my frozen crab.

Good luck to all the nesa members this weekend.
You never know that cod of a life time may be about to hoover up your worm offering!
