Friendly Match

Sounds like a good idea, will be up for it if start time is not too early, or if its ok to turn up a little late.

The point of the night is a freindly meet up, optional cash match for those wanting a wager and "haversacking" is actively encouraged for those wanting to learn ;)

Low water is at 1950ish so wanted to give us all, roughly, a couple of hours either side

If you want to turn up at a later point Terry that presents no issues with me

The meet up and start was going to be about 1730-1800 which I acknowledge is prob a bit early for those working...but like I said there's no probs with turning up later :)

Have updated the first page with the bulk of the finer points regarding the freindly meet

still trying come up with a "fishing" freindly Pub/Club for anyone wishing to have a pint afterwards

Have been given a few pointers by people - anyone out there know any "fisherman freindly" landlords between the given boundaries...preferably between Seaton sluice and Whitley Bay

any help/info greatly appreciated

cheers

Tony

Have had a think about this...and given the fact that it's going to be late and most people will have driven etc...a pub meet up is prob not feasible

Especially as most of us will be in full winter fishing apparel

Unless someone can reccommend a known fishing friendly pub with a late licence in the vicinity of Seaton Sluice or Whitley Bay seafront; then I would say that the best bet is to make the meet up at the Rendezvous cafe car Park

Thoughts/ideas greatly appreciated

Cheers

Tony

Cheers for that Tony, it will be very handy for people not knowing the area. Looks like we should have a canny turnout and a good enjoyable night.

Jim.
