From Roker pier 2 the rat house 2 hendon

After yesterday's terrible blanking session I thought I'd try again by fishing the pier at the end. Turned up about 11.15 where their were 3 others fishing which had not caught anything. First cast straight into a whitey followed by another 2. Unfortunately, force 10 gale made an appearance so decided to move to the ratty. Where their was nothing much happening so after an hour or so decided to pack up and go home. As I drove through Hendon I decided to have a look down the prom and fished for a good few hours where I blanked. And as I decided to pack up and head home my van wouldn't start however thanx to a few great lads pushing my ford transit up & down the car park a few times I got it started and headed home. Thanks again lads for the help

Alright mate mate, it was me that was on roker this morning then hendon this afternoon. Cant believe how poor it was! I had 1 coalie and me mate had 2 coalies and a small codling from Hendon. Glad we managed to get your van started for ya. We all sat down for half hour after pushing that ton weight, lol. There's always tomorrow tho

Mate thanks again for the help. The thought of leaving my van overnight or having to kip in the van wasn't nice. I'm gonna head out tomorrow but just had a look at the forecast and its gonna be strong easterly blowing 23+ till about lunch time when it swings s.w 10's so will see what happens. In just glad I didn't blank 2 days in a row

No worries mate, glad we got you going. The thought of leaving it down there or even spending the night, is just horrible!! Aye the SE blow should put a nice bump on again. Fingers crossed for better luck tomorrow and a few codling turn up!

I may Do a night session actually see what that produces rather than tomorrow day time. Will see how I feel tomorrow
