From the kayak

Had a dabble just quater of a mile off Marsden cliffs today in the kayak, and after several bites from what I presume to be small fish, I managed to bag a 1 1/2lb cod, which I was secretly chuffed with. Then, what felt like a whopping 5lb 12oz cod. Great day. Even got a tan!

Just shows you don't have to go far for decent fish. Enjoy the yak fishing and stay safe mate.

Well done mate good result. I got a kayak last year and used it a couple of times on freshwater but not on the sea yet. I'm dying to get out so if you fancy letting me tag along sometime give me a shout.
